Gabe here, I'll try and update you the best I can, but I am not a writer so forgive me if you can:
Well then, where to start. In these months a lot changed in the lives of each DFG team member and, consequently, in the company as a whole. Some of us found jobs, as it is inevitable to sustain yourself. Some just were too busy to keep going, and all of us lost a massive chunk of hope after Transfuzer, it broke us, all of it. Yes, Transfuzer was an incredible experience, it got us to EGX, it got us higher than ever, but the higher the flight, the mightier the fall, as they rightfully say.
At this point in time, only a few members are left, and although resources are scarcer than ever, hope might just be at a record high! Glen and Doug and I are still around, the others aren't, not because they don't want to, but because we were clashing all the time for creative reasons, although we are good friends, we could not share the same creative space as development had become stale, slow and painful.
It is with heavy heart that we parted ways, it was my decision and it taught me a valuable lesson to say the least. Decisions like these are horrible and horribly hard to take, I have indeed many regrets, but I hope I can at least make amends, specifically here by not wasting all the hard work we did together and all the experience that we gathered along the way.
So it is with great hope and determination that I hereby announce that DFG is going strong and that two games are coming your way, one you already know of and one that has been in the works for the longest time but you never heard of.
Stay tuned for what's coming, it's going to be a hell of a ride for sure!
